Fashion Journalism Student Spring 2015 Hear ye! Hear ye! A few hours ago the Vogue Italy website has published the greatest news ever: Peter Dundas has been appointed the new Creative Director of the Italian brand Roberto Cavalli and he will present his first collection this September. The 47 years old Norwegian designer was already known in the Florence-based maison: in fact, he started a collaboration as the Chief Designer of the brand Cavalli between 2002 and 2005. Then, in 2008, he became Creative Director of Pucci, where he could show his abilities and his innovative touch with a new aristocratic and high-profile language. After 7 years at Pucci, Dundas is now coming back to Cavalli in a powerful and positive mood: “It’s an honor… I have an enormous responsibility towards the evolution of the amazing and unique world of Roberto Cavalli and I truly believe in the potential of this extraordinary brand. I can’t wait to start!” … And we clearly can’t wait to see what happens next!
