The show started with Waukon track by Karen Gwyer, electronic music beautifully disappearing into oblivion, and that is the mood for Moon Young Hee’s Winter 2015 collection.
Oh how Parisian fashion differs from the Korean, Paris based designer. Demonstration of highly detailed work and attention to form that offered gleams of future, through Moon’s eyes. The collection was shown in the elegant rooms of Mona Bismarck American Center.
True to using monochromatic toned designs, the collection’s pallet was like Eagle Nebula. Various shapes and textured of coats, neatly leather belted, and oversized shirts presented as big fluffy clouds were pared with grange shoes.

I asked Loanna Haseltine, a stylist and a founder of Dreamland Studio in Paris, what she thought about Moon’s collection, “I thought the silhouettes were fresh, it is what is going on at the moment, I loved the origami style folded details on the garments”, said Loanna http://www.loannahaseltine.com
Moon’s collection is the result of passion for the art of tailoring, and creation of a unique signature style, skillfully combining wool and lurex, to provide the right dose of comfort and sophistication, just as yin & yang balancing our emotions.
