In the Rocha family, fashion design is transmitted from father to daughter. Simone Rocha, daughter of designer John Rocha, allowed herself to dream in the workshop of his father. At 28 years old, she is now a finalist of the 2014 LVMH award, which will be announced on May 28.

Simone Rocha is born in Dublin in 1986 and graduates from the National College of Art and Design in Dublin in 2008 before entering Central Saint Martins to follow the acclaimed Fashion MA. Simone presents her first collection at London Fashion Week in 2011, which will immediately encounter a great success.

Fashion is a real family affair for the Rocha and the young prodigy surrounds herself with his father, consultant for her collections, her mother who oversees the production and her brother who provides soundtracks of her shows.

Everyone fights over her collections which are sold in the finest boutiques such as Colette in Paris, Dover Street Market in London and 10 Corso Como in Milan. In 2012 her collection is unanimously acclaimed by leading fashion critics. A year later, Simone receives The Emerging Womenswear Designer award at the British Fashion Awards.

The style of his collections follows a silhouette of eccentricity on which articulate details of romance, punk or gothic games with materials and forms without limits.
