Guerrisol: cheap & cheerful

You might have to dig and you definitely need to wash your hands after, but sometimes you have to get a little dirty to get something really good. With over five locations in Paris, Guerrisol is the city’s best thrift shop. Prices are low, as in you can leave with an entire new outfit for less money then you spend on a cocktail. Most items ranging from two to eight euros, it is difficult to leave without a bag of new vintage gems.

As with all thrift stores, a day at Guerrisol with either yield an incredible score of vintage DKNY and perfectly threadbare tees (like my most recent endeavor) or you’re left empty handed- so don’t give up if the first trip isn’t successful.

The best locations are at Place de Clichy and Barbes– the grit is part of the charm. Happy hunting!
