In this closing of the fashion week, the most stylish New York duo Proenza Schouler takes its headquarters at the Bon Marché for a very fashionable and ephemeral exhibition at the heart of their unique universe. The ground-floor of the legendary store offers a new space of exhibition displaying some of their masterpieces from ten previous years.
Proenza Schouler is a designer duo composed of Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough, two young Americans from the New York Parsons School of Design and associates since 2002 under the brand Proenza Schouler, a combination of the two designers’ mothers’ maiden names.
A capsule collection was created exclusively for Le Bon Marché rive gauche and reflects the latest inspirations of McCollough and Hernandez, an extension of their Spring-Summer 2014 collection.
The designers wanted to develop a sophisticated line offering various stitches as well as t-shirts and accessories. The famous PS prints can be seen for a colorful urban collection, vibrant and refined. The iconic bags Ps1 and Ps11 feature in new tones and materials for this limited and coveted edition.
On the occasion of the exhibition and the capsule collection, Proenza Schouler released a mini movie realized by The Harrys in order to present the work of the coolest designers of the moment. Great scenography and beautiful clothes, the show worth seeing!
