After a first documentary on the Fendi house, The Day Before, Loïc Prigent takes us behind the scenes of the Italian fashion house with Inside The Mothership. The film is an unconventional look into the 48 hours before Fendi’s Spring / Summer 2014 Fashion Show, the opening of the Milan boutique and the exhibition Making Dreams: Fendi and the Cinema. In about 15 minutes Prigent reveals the excitement of September 19 in Milan also known as Fendi Day. The director brings us exclusive footage of the final touches of the collection, the meticulous work that went into each piece, the fitting session under Karl Lagerfeld and Silvia Fendi’s watchful eye and much more, all as if we were there!
